I'm not going to lie, things have been sucking with progress on this car. I find myself unable to make any "real" progress due to lack of parts (and lack of funds for parts), and catch myself in the garage drinking my fair share of pabst while ripping off bits of the interior that I've just decided I don't need. To see the car becoming more taken a part makes me just down right pissed, so what should any man do to blow off some steam? Guns, and lots of them.
Now the ones above do not belong to me, but to a buddy of mine that offered to take me out so I could break in my new rifle.
4 1/2 hours of shooting, 600ish rounds, and the world rid of one less fax machine and several pumpkins I feel much better and more focused. With that I finished cleaning out the interior, removed the spare tire well, and will start scraping off sound deadening until funds are saved to get the car in for its cage.

When to the junkyard and all I got were these lousy skirts
so while at the junkyard helping a buddy look for parts I decided that since I already have the volvo lip, soon nissian motor, so why not a little american? $5.83 later I had my Ford Taurus skirts, cheap mod and makes its look a little bit better. Don't mind the 4x4 stance...

Still here and no fun
So no real updates on the car, but in my personal life I got fired a week before my wedding in early September. Obviously this puts a hold on spending money but still get to wrench on the car some.
here the car was brought out for a few photos and to show off the current wheels. I'm not 100% set on keeping the sportmaxx 002, but they were cheap and will fit.

I had the former owner, who I sold the car to and bought it back from, Rion (http://rivalhousegarage.com/) swing by to see exactly what he had done. After getting the heads off we discovered what is called selective overheating. So now as the weather temps have dropped I'm preparing to have the motorset pulled and getting the bay prepped for the SR once I start working again.
